Pick AI Ark if you build prospect lists in batches and want every email verified before it reaches your sequencer, because it searches 400M+ people in its own database. Pick Kaspr if your reps prospect on LinkedIn one profile at a time. For list building at volume, AI Ark is the Kaspr alternative to test first.
Key takeaways
Search vs reveal. AI Ark is a searchable database of 400M+ people and 70M+ companies that you filter and export inside the AI Ark app. Kaspr reveals contact details on the LinkedIn, Sales Navigator or Recruiter Lite profile you are viewing.
Verified at export. AI Ark checks every email with BounceBan at the moment you export, catch-alls included, and expects a bounce rate under 1.5%. Kaspr describes a multi-step email check repeated every two months and publishes no accuracy figure.
Working in the browser. AI Ark runs in its own web app, through its API and through an MCP server in Claude, Cursor and Windsurf, so a list is built from filters rather than from pages you open. Kaspr is a Chrome extension that sits on top of LinkedIn and reveals one profile at a time.
Scaling limits. AI Ark exports 10,000 records per batch and you repeat with the Net New filter, on credit tiers up to 5,000,000 a month. Kaspr's unlimited B2B emails are capped at 10,000 credits per account per month in its terms, and exports stop at 12,000 a year on Starter and 30,000 a year on Business.
Cost per valid email. For 60,000 verified emails a year, AI Ark's annual plan costs $758, or $12.63 per 1,000, with BounceBan verification included. Covering the same exports on Kaspr takes two Business seats at $1,896 a year, or $31.60 per 1,000.
Free to test. AI Ark's free tier gives 100 credits a month with no card, and unused paid credits roll over up to 2x the monthly plan. Kaspr's Free plan gives 15 B2B email, 5 phone and 5 direct email credits a month, so both can be tried on your own ICP before you pay.

What Teams Say About AI Ark

What sets AI Ark apart is the sheer quality of their lead data; the email validation is so thorough that we’ve seen a significantly lower bounce rate compared to other databases. It’s a tool we can actually rely on for high-stakes outreach without worrying about deliverability.

What is AI Ark?
AI Ark is a B2B people and company database for outbound teams, agencies and growth operators who build lists by filtering rather than by visiting profiles. You search 400M+ people and 70M+ companies, refreshed in full every 30 days, then export the records you need.
AI Ark assumes you already own your outreach stack: a sequencer, a CRM, maybe Clay. Its job is to hand you a verified file that is ready to send without a second verification pass.
The capabilities that set it apart: Company Lookalike takes up to five customer URLs and finds companies that sell the same thing. Net New vs Saved Records hides anyone you have already exported, so you never pay twice for the same contact. You can also filter by headcount growth over 6, 12 or 24 months, by employees in each department, by time in role separately from time at the company, and by company HQ separately from where the person sits.
What is Kaspr?
Kaspr is a Paris-based contact data tool, part of Cognism since 2022. It describes itself as built for individual prospecting by SDRs, founders, recruiters and small teams. The core product is a Chrome extension that shows work emails, personal emails and phone numbers on LinkedIn, Sales Navigator and Recruiter Lite profiles. A web app adds lead management, CSV enrichment, task management, and emailing or dialing from Kaspr, plus HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive and Lemlist integrations. Signing up requires a LinkedIn account with at least 20 connections.
Kaspr says its data comes from publicly available sources such as legal registries and company websites, from first-party collection tied to customer activity, and from third-party providers, across 120+ sources. It shares datasets with Cognism. Its homepage claims contact data on 200M+ profiles and 500M+ phone numbers and email addresses. Emails go through a multi-step check for signs of an active address and are re-validated every two months, and a contact is updated in real time when a user requests it.
Kaspr publishes prices for Free, Starter and Business, and Enterprise is custom. It suits individual reps and small teams who live in LinkedIn and want phone numbers bundled into each seat.
Data quality: where validation happens
How AI Ark does it
AI Ark verifies every email in real time with BounceBan at the moment you export. Addresses that fail are dropped, not flagged. Catch-all domains get the same treatment: each address is validated individually and delivered only when confirmed, labeled Catch-All Valid. Expected bounce rate is under 1.5%.
That strictness shows up in the find rate. About 70% of exported contacts come back with a verified email, because we would rather leave a cell empty than hand you a risky address. You pay 0.5 credits for the profile either way and another 0.5 only when a valid email is found.
How Kaspr does it
Kaspr's email data goes through a multi-step check for indicators of an active address, and the emails are re-validated every two months. When a user requests a contact, Kaspr updates it in real time. Kaspr does not describe how it treats catch-all domains and does not publish an accuracy or bounce figure.
Reviews are broadly positive. Kaspr holds 4.4 out of 5 from 837 reviews on G2. In G2's summary of review themes, accurate contact information appears among the pros (6 mentions), the most frequent con is limited credits (5 mentions), and two reviews point to outdated or incomplete contact data under inefficient verification.
The trade-off, stated fairly
Kaspr refreshes a contact at the point a rep asks for it, which suits one-at-a-time lookups where the rep can judge the result on the spot. AI Ark verifies at the point of export, so every row in a 10,000-record file has passed the same check before it reaches your sequencer.
With 50 lookups a week you see each result; with 5,000 contacts going into a campaign, the file itself has to be safe. The fair test is your own list: export the same 500 people from both tools, send from the same tool with no verifier in between, and compare bounces at day seven.
True cost: what a valid lead actually costs
List price is the wrong comparison. Kaspr charges per user and splits each seat into four credit types; AI Ark charges one credit pool. The useful number is annual spend divided by verified contacts delivered, at the cheapest plan that covers the volume.

Starter | 5,000 to 30,000 | $49 to $119 | $470 for 60,000 to $1,142 for 360,000 | Up to 3 |

On AI Ark, a person profile costs 0.5 credits, a valid email 0.5 credits charged only when one is found, a mobile number 5 credits and a company record 0.1 credits. On Kaspr, a B2B email, phone or direct email credit is spent once per lead, and an export credit is spent every time a contact leaves Kaspr for a CSV or CRM.
Scenario 1: 60,000 verified emails a year
Kaspr's B2B emails are unlimited on paid plans, but its terms cap unlimited credits at 10,000 per account per month and treat their use through APIs or robots as abuse. The binding limit is exports: 30,000 a year on a Business seat. Kaspr publishes no accuracy figure, so we count every exported Kaspr contact as a valid email, which is the most generous reading available.
AI Ark: at a 70% find rate, 60,000 verified emails means exporting 85,715 profiles. That is 42,858 credits for profiles plus 30,000 for emails, about 72,858 credits a year. The annual 180,000-credit plan covers it at $758, or $12.63 per 1,000 verified emails.
Kaspr: two Business seats billed annually give 60,000 exports for $1,896 a year, or $31.60 per 1,000. Billed monthly, the same two seats cost $2,376, or $39.60 per 1,000.
The gap is about 2.5x, and the two Kaspr seats also include 4,800 phone credits, 4,800 direct email credits and access for a second user.
Scenario 2: one rep, 500 emails and 100 mobiles a month
The narrow case, close to how Kaspr is designed to be used: 6,000 verified emails and 1,200 mobiles a year.
AI Ark: about 8,572 profiles at 0.5 credits, 6,000 emails at 0.5 and 1,200 mobiles at 5 credits come to 13,286 credits a year. The annual 60,000-credit plan covers it at $470.
Kaspr: one Starter seat billed annually covers 12,000 exports and 1,200 phone credits for $588 a year, or $780 billed monthly.
At this size the two land close together, and the deciding factor is workflow rather than price.
The counterpoint, stated honestly
Kaspr's seat price buys more than data. It includes the Chrome extension, phone and direct email credits, native CRM integrations and, on Business, use inside LinkedIn Recruiter Lite. For a rep revealing a dozen profiles a day on LinkedIn, one click on the profile saves real time.
The flip side: Kaspr's workflow starts from LinkedIn, Sales Navigator or a CSV you bring, so teams that build their lists in Sales Navigator pay for that seat on top. We left it out of both scenarios, so the Kaspr figures above are its floor.
The hidden line item is verification. Unverified or unknown addresses mean paying a third-party verifier per email and waiting before a campaign launches. AI Ark's exports arrive verified, catch-alls included, so that cost and delay drop out. Run your own volume through AI Ark pricing to see the number for your team.

Compliance and data sourcing
We process data as a B2B search engine under GDPR Article 6(1)(f), legitimate interests, for B2B purposes only. Our data comes from public sources, community contributions and partner networks. Anyone can remove their profile at ai-ark.com/opt-out, and our GDPR position is set out at ai-ark.com/gdpr.
Our terms prohibit automated extraction and scraping, and data you upload for enrichment or exclusion lists stays in your workspace; we don't fold it back into the database.
Kaspr describes itself as GDPR aligned, shows GDPR and CCPA badges, and relies on legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f). We found no ISO 27001 or SOC 2 certification on its public pages. In December 2024, France's data protection authority, the CNIL, fined Kaspr EUR 240,000 for collecting contact details from LinkedIn users who had restricted their visibility, for retention periods that renewed automatically, and for transparency failings. In March 2026 the CNIL closed the order, noting that Kaspr had deleted its database, stopped collecting data on LinkedIn and fixed the other points.
Choose Kaspr if
Your reps find prospects on LinkedIn or Sales Navigator and want contact details on the profile in one click, from a Chrome extension, which AI Ark does not offer.
You want phone credits bundled into each seat: 1,200 a year on Starter and 2,400 a year on Business.
You need personal email addresses as well as work ones, which Kaspr sells as direct email credits.
You want native integrations with HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive or Lemlist, and to email or dial from the same tool.
You recruit through LinkedIn Recruiter Lite, which the Business plan supports.
You need intent data or single sign-on, both on Kaspr's Enterprise plan; AI Ark's intent data is in development.
Choose AI Ark if you need a Kaspr alternative for list building
You build lists by filtering a database of 400M+ people and 70M+ companies, not by visiting profiles one at a time.
You want mobile numbers on demand from 100M+ verified mobile profiles, at 5 credits each from the same pool as your emails.
You want only verified emails in the file, catch-alls included and labeled "Catch-All Valid", with a bounce rate under 1.5% expected.
You send data into Clay, your CRM or an AI agent through an API at 300 requests per minute, Zapier, Make, n8n or an MCP server.
You prospect by account, with Company Lookalike, headcount growth and employees by department.
You need volume beyond one rep's seat: 10,000 records per batch, Net New to skip past exports, and credits that roll over up to 2x the monthly plan.
Kaspr is built for the rep working inside LinkedIn; AI Ark is built for the team building lists from a database and sending them at volume. If that second description fits, start on the free tier and run your own ICP through it.
Frequently Asked Questions
1. Is Kaspr worth it?
For one rep revealing contacts on LinkedIn profiles, yes: Kaspr's Starter seat at $49 a month billed annually bundles 1,200 phone credits a year with the extension. For list building at volume, AI Ark's database search and verified export cost $12.63 per 1,000 verified emails at 60,000 a year, against $31.60 on Kaspr, with BounceBan verification included.
2. What is the best Kaspr alternative for bulk list building?
AI Ark is built for that job. You filter 400M+ people and 70M+ companies, export 10,000 records per batch and repeat with the Net New filter, and every email is verified with BounceBan at export. Kaspr caps exports at 12,000 a year on Starter and 30,000 a year on Business, and its workflow starts from LinkedIn, Sales Navigator or a CSV you bring.
3. How accurate is Kaspr's data?
Kaspr publishes no accuracy or bounce figure; it describes a multi-step email check re-run every two months, and G2 reviewers rate it 4.4 out of 5. AI Ark verifies every email with BounceBan at export and delivers only addresses that passed, with a bounce rate under 1.5% expected. The fair test is the same 500 people from both tools, sent from the same tool with no verifier in between, with bounces compared at day seven.
4. How does Kaspr pricing compare with AI Ark?
Kaspr charges per user: Starter is $49 billed annually or $65 monthly, and Business is $79 or $99, each with separate phone, direct email and export allowances. AI Ark starts at $49 a month for 5,000 credits, or $470 a year for 60,000, in one credit pool. For 60,000 verified emails a year, two Kaspr Business seats cost $1,896 and AI Ark costs $758.
5. Are Kaspr's B2B email credits really unlimited?
Not in practice. Kaspr lists unlimited B2B email credits on paid plans, but its terms cap unlimited credits at 10,000 per account per month and treat their use through APIs or robots as abuse, and exports are limited separately, to 12,000 a year on Starter and 30,000 on Business. AI Ark charges 0.5 credits per valid email, and the only limit is your credit balance, exported 10,000 records per batch.
6. How does AI Ark verify catch-all emails?
AI Ark validates each catch-all address individually with BounceBan at the moment of export and delivers it only when confirmed, labeled "Catch-All Valid". Addresses that cannot be confirmed are left out rather than marked risky. Kaspr does not describe how it handles catch-all domains. With AI Ark, a bounce rate under 1.5% is expected, so files can go straight into a sequencer.
7. Where does Kaspr's data come from?
Kaspr says it uses public sources, first-party collection and third-party providers across 120+ sources. In March 2026 France's CNIL closed an order against Kaspr after it deleted its database and stopped collecting data on LinkedIn, following a EUR 240,000 fine in 2024. AI Ark aggregates public sources, community contributions and partner networks, processes them under GDPR Article 6(1)(f) for B2B purposes, and anyone can opt out at ai-ark.com/opt-out.
8. Can I try both before deciding?
Yes. AI Ark's free tier gives 100 credits a month with no card, enough for about 80 contacts with verified emails. Kaspr's Free plan gives 15 B2B email, 5 phone and 5 direct email credits a month. Run the same ICP through both, send from the same tool with no verifier in between, and compare bounces at day seven; the AI Ark file arrives already verified.
